Founding Member
Owner: Crystal “Crys” Ludwick (she/her)
Established: 2014
Services: I am an inclusive wedding, elopement, family and engagement photographer in the Louisville area, but love traveling. I specialize in the honest documentation of relationships with a moody and colorful vibe. I pride myself on representing couples as they truly are regardless of who they love, how they present, skin color, gender identity, body type, physical ability or faith.
Member Statement: “As a Pansexual person, I want my community to know that there are wedding photographers in their area that do not discriminate based on who someone loves or how they identify themselves, especially since we are in a red state that tends to be less supportive of LGBTQ folx. I want my couples to know that I provide a safe space for them to be themselves in front of my camera and that I replace judgment with love. I use inclusive language at weddings and never assume certain traditional events will take place, but instead, I allow the couples to direct me on how they want their wedding day to look like.”

artful documentation of your most memorable moments
Owner: Hannah Ours(she/her)
Established: 2018
Services: Documentary Wedding Photography with a hands-off approach, offering guidance as needed. A safe place for you and your partner to show up exactly as you are.
Member Statement: “I believe in offering a safe creative space for all people. So often in the photography industry, I see photographers trying to "improve" their clients - editing all skin tones to be orange or washed out, airbrushing away any unique facial features, or promising to pose you to look skinnier. I believe every individual is so beautiful as they are, regardless of age, sexual orientation, gender identity, race, religion, size, body, culture, or ability. It's really important to me that we as an industry provide space for every human to show up exactly as they are and to celebrate what makes each of us unique.”

Sur la Lune Photography
For those Over the Moon with Love and Happiness
Owners: Carrie Guggenmos (she/her)
Established: 2010
Services: We are Carrie, Ganer, and a team of associates that have enthusiastically provided inclusive services since 2010. We were there outside the clerk's office with the honor of photographing the first gay wedding in Bowling Green when it was finally legal. We are proud to have been a part of so many celebrations for folks from many diverse backgrounds that have trusted us from all around this country. Sur la Lune has always been about shooting with an open heart. Our work is candid, lively, and vibrant. We believe in doing in your way and with your values in mind. We are so excited to hear more about your story.
Member Statement: “Because as a queer-identifying woman, I struggled to find vendors myself when it was my turn to invest in such services. I remember when clients would nervously ask if we were "okay" with working with queer couples. I remember a time when skin tones were an afterthought and representation in wedding media was overwhelmingly white-washed, ableist, materialistic, and heteronormative. I am so THRILLED to see our community making strides in making things better. It finally feels like a community and I am so happy to see this growth.”
Winters Photography Co
Nurturing moments honestly & beautifully giving them back to you in a photo.
Owner: Mickie Winters (she/they)
Established: 2001
Services: Photo maker of art & honest documentation. A multifaceted photographer with a background in fine art, documentary, magazine & editorial work. Specializing in weddings, engagements, elopements, family, musicians, business branding, product photography & professional portraits.
Member Statement: “All lovers are welcome & celebrated here. Being apart of the LGBTQIA community myself it’s important for me to come from a place of nurturing. Nurturing a moment, a vision. Nurturing a love displayed before me and giving it back to my couples & clients visually, as honestly and beautifully as possible with care. I focus on the real that is present even in the most posed of situations. Having inclusivity shouldn’t be a trend but a given. Inclusive Kentucky Weddings provides a honed in space for couples that face discrimination based of sexual orientation, gender, age, body size, belief or ability to come and exhale. That’s where I want to be and that’s what I offer. A real space to be authentic & accepted where you can breathe and feel at ease and taken care of. I will take care of you.”
LGBTQ+ Friendly Photography & Videography Teams
Sarah Katherine Davis Photography (& Video)
Founding Member
Owners: Sarah Katherine Davis (she/they) & Joyce Barbour (she/they)
Established: 2010
Services: Sarah’s wife Joyce is the videographer on their team! Joyce’s work balances the nostalgic feel of old home movies with more modern documentary influences. She focuses on real, honest moments and prioritizes capturing footage that will allow you to experience all the emotions of the day. We look for clips that make you feel something, which means we might choose a more emotive out-of-focus shot rather than a more technically perfect clip that doesn’t carry as much feeling. We believe that quality video doesn't have to come at the expense of you actually getting to enjoy your wedding day.
Member Statement: “Everyone deserves to have quality videography of their most important moments and to have their love celebrated and affirmed by their vendor team on their wedding day.”
